Taken in RAW format and edited mostly in Photoshop CS2's RAW dialog which I rather like. Messed around a bit with sharpening levels and contrast and exposure, since the camera was exposing for the bright sky. Haven't quite gotten the hang of the masking techniques (or dodge and burn by hand) necessary to REALLY get the best of these kind of landscapes, where the camera either underexposes the landscape, or overexposes the sky.
But I like how this came out, even if it is a bit grainy.
On another note, I created a nice simple, elegant border that I rather like... and managed to create a photoshop action that makes it all automatically! Woohoo!
Oh, and it's also clearly cropped. I wanted to focus in the attention on the center of the valley. The eye flow is decent, you follow the river as it curves along... wasn't looking for perfection here since the landscape pretty much speaks for itself.
Perfect cropping, beautiful landscape, love the green tones. Should get a lot more attention and comments and faves: it really is a great shot! (I'm not too much of a fan of big signitures though! )

lol thanks so much for the comment!!!
As for the signature... I assume you're talking about the copyright thing at the bottom?
Yeah... maybe I should go back to plain-er stuff... but with people ripping stuff off from other people I figured it would be good to have the protection. I couldn't think of an effective way to sign my work... though I think it does need some sort of ID...
Yes, i have heard about ppl ripping off other ppl's photos and stuff... it's sad, but I think that much like in the music and film industry, there is really no way to really control it. I agree about it being ok to have some sort of ID (of you) in it... maybe just letting it blend in somehow. Remember that if you sign it only on the border, all the person needs to do is crop the frame and done... and if you sign it in the middle of the photo, the charm is gone... so it is a tough decision!
But you are very welcome!

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. plus, adding the type on the bottom makes it look kind of spiffy and professional and slick
